Harvard Study Confirms Fluoride Harms Brain Development
A recent, systematic review of past fluoride studies, reported in Environmental Health Perspectives, supports the possibility of an adverse effect of fluoride exposure on children’s brain development. Future research should include detailed individual-level information on prenatal exposure, neurobehavioral performance and other variables.
The study concluded that children in high fluoride areas had significantly lower IQ scores than those who lived in low fluoride areas.
Our modern day environment is saturated with numerous fluoride sources such as; toothpastes, fluoridated water, fruit juices, mouth rinses, fluoride programs in schools and clinics, topically applied fluoride at dental offices and prescription drugs. It would be prudent to try and minimize your children’s cumulative fluoride exposure in order to protect your child’s brain from damage.
